LiRo’s Virtual Design, Construction and Operations team, based in lower-Manhattan, is a dynamic interdisciplinary group of designers, engineers, and construction managers. We are leaders in providing the latest in BIM, experience simulations (Virtual and mixed reality), 4D scheduling, risk analysis, coordination and clash detection for some of the largest and most interesting construction projects in New York City. We are constantly developing tools and workflows on how to make buildings smarter through the use of cutting-edge tech. We recently earned an award at Autodesk’s AEC Excellence Awards under the Infrastructure BIM Category, for our work on the East Side Access mega project.

Construction BIM Manager

This position would be overseeing the BIM of several large and exciting projects. This involves 4D modeling using Synchro and Navisworks, interfacing with Construction/Design teams in coordination and risk assessment meetings, and creating visuals and reports on an ongoing basis.

Requirements: 

  • At least eight years’ education + experience in the field of Construction Management and Revit.
  • High proficiency with using Revit, Excel, Synchro, and Navisworks.
  • Knowledge in Dynamo, Autodesk products' API, or Excel Macros is a plus. 
  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
  • Must have a drive to solve problems by innovative means, and a strong team player.

    BIM / Revit Modeler

    We have high standards for our models, and thus our modelers too. Qualified candidates should have in-depth knowledge of and experience using Revit in the field of Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management.

    Responsibilities: 

    • Create LOD 300 & 400 models using Revit Architecture.
    • Knowledge in Autodesk products' API or Dynamo is a plus.  
    • Interface with Construction/Design teams in coordination meetings.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred. 
    • Research, develop, and implement improved workflows
    • Must have a drive to solve problems by innovative means, and a strong team player.
